Gift of rings

The sculpture represents an old Polish legend about Helena Modrzejewska, a famous Polish actress, and Brother Albert, a successful Polish painter who left his successful art career to help poor and homeless people.

This legend talks about how Brother Albert went around to the people in Krakow and begged for money to buy food for poor people. Suddenly, he met Helena. He knew her from the past when he was a famous painter. Helena came to him and gave him all the rings she had to provide food for poor people.
